THE REBIRTH OF THE
HEADBANGERS NIGHT
IT´S TIME TO RAISE AGAIN !
What began as a school project – at the tender age of 15 – in 2019 has now grown up. Taking part in the WACKEN:MUSIC:CAMPs from 2017 to 2020 and performing in the world’s biggest band ROCKIN’1000 in Florence in 2018 made me want to give something back to the music world – especially to up-and-coming musicians.
So, the first edition of the HEADBANGERS NIGHT was a blast ! The festival even appeared in the local newspaper, regional television news, and the official WACKEN Instagram page. See the video HERE
A SYMPHONY OF CREATIVITY
In essence, my life story is a symphony of entrepreneurship, creativity, music, sports, continuous learning, and unique experiences – a journey marked by passion, resilience, and a commitment to making a lasting impact.
Hope to see you !
Julian
Born in 2004 in Collogne/Germany as a “Kölsche Jung”, I began my journey with a passion for music that manifested in 2008 when I first picked up drumsticks, marking the initial beat of my life.
Fast forward to my 16th birthday in 2020, where I kick-started my entrepreneurial journey with the creation of HEADBANEGR gGmbH, a non-profit company. Two years later – in 2022 – after relocating to Switzerland, I founded BLEGH GmbH, a project agency fueling my various interests, including the YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CLUB, music projects, and my fantasy authorship.
In 2024, I formally began my career as a bartender. While I had already gained valuable experience in the gastronomy industry through my work at BARFUSS BRAUEREI and its associated brewery bar, I sought to expand my expertise and deepen my skills with a bar course under the guidance of Swiss Champion and Vice World Champion Remo Thörig.
Simultaneously, my academic journey unfolded, weaving a rich tapestry of experiences. This journey commenced with my high school graduation from the IB International School in Bonn, guiding me through numerous online courses.
The beat of my life story continued to the rhythm of music. From my drumming beginnings in 2008, I embraced the bass guitar in 2012, leading to a performance with the biggest rock band of the world ROCKIN’ 1000 in Florence.
The experiences of WACKEN:MUSIC:CAMP since 2017 fueled my adaptability, resulting in the creation of my band “INTERNS of HELL.” The INTERNS of HELL released their first single in the middle of 2024 on all streaming platforms and now as collectively over 60.000 views on all platforms with a weekly release schedule on the BLEGH of the Week (each Friday).
In 2020, I expanded my musical repertoire by exploring the guitar, enhancing my songwriting capabilities. Collaborations, such as EXP.66’s album “SOLUTIONS,” and initiatives like CAPTAIN BLACKBIRD’S DRUM SCHOOL further deepened my musical education. In 2023, I ventured into experimental music with the formation of “XENEX” and founded “METAL K!DZ” to mentor and pass on transformative experiences to the next generation of artists.
Adding journalistic flair to my story, I joined “JUNGE JOURNALISTEN SCHWEIZ” in 2023. Earlier, in 2018, as a member of Jugendpresse NRW, I participated in a greenscreen workshop and contributed to the live stream crew during Gamescom 2018.

ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET
My entrepreneurial journey started in 2020 on my 16th birthday with my first (non-profit) company called HEADBANEGR gGmbH. In 2022 – after moving to Switzerland – I founded my second company called BLEGH GmbH as a project agency for my various activities like YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CLUB, several music-related projects and my projects as a fantasy author.

HEADBANGERS NIGHT #1 | BONN 2019
The HEADBANGERS NIGHT BONN was a festival that I organized in 2019, which was inspired by the same concepts the WACKEN:MUSIC:CAMP was operating on. I wanted to allow young musicians to gain live performance experiences and feel empowered, just like I was after leaving the WACKEN:MUSIC:CAMP in 2017. Not only did I wish to allow others to experience this adrenaline kick, but I too wished to play another live performance with my friends in the INTERNS of HELL.
The festival even appeared in the local newspaper, regional television news, and the official WACKEN Instagram page.

WORLD MUSIC DAY
World Music Day, also known as Fête de la Musique, is an annual celebration held on June 21st to promote music and its universal appeal. It originated in France in 1982, initiated by the French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang, along with Maurice Fleuret, a French composer and music journalist. The idea was to encourage musicians – amateurs and professionals alike – to perform in public spaces, making music accessible to everyone for free.
The event takes place on the summer solstice, symbolizing a celebration of light and creativity. It’s not tied to any specific genre; instead, it embraces all forms of music, from classical to jazz, rock, traditional, and beyond. Streets, parks, and public venues worldwide turn into stages where anyone can play or listen. Concerts, impromptu performances, and music workshops are common, often organized by local communities or cultural institutions.
Since its inception, World Music Day has spread globally, with over 120 countries now participating. It’s less about commercialization and more about the joy of music as a shared human experience. Some cities host massive events, while others keep it grassroots with buskers and small gatherings. The date, June 21st, remains consistent.
